FURUNO - FCV600 - THE FISHFINDER FOR SEA FISHING The FCV600 from Furuno is a color fishfinder with a very bright VGA display offering excellent brightness even in bright sunlight. Furuno has extended the color range to more quickly identify echoes under your fishing boat such as reefs, structures and fish. It includes new Full Sun and Yellow colors for better visibility in bright light. The Furuno FCV600 sounder features 600W of power, compatible with 50/200kHz frequencies + CHIRP for perfect detection both on the shallow and deep water. It incorporates various functions to optimize your sea-fishing sessions, such as TruEcho Chirp and Accu-Fish. Finally, it now features wireless connectivity, allowing you to connect a second display. Supplied with a bracket, you can also flush-mount your Furuno FCV600 fishfinder using the flush-mount kit(sold separately).
TRUECHO FUNCTION CHIRP Traditional CW (Continuous Wave) fishfinders transmit a single-frequency signal, while CHIRP fishfinders transmit a frequency-modulated linear signal, a wave whose frequency increases with time. The FCV600 sounder can use a wideband probe to transmit over a spectrum of frequencies, enabling better target resolution. With the TruEcho CHIRP from Furuno, you 'll enjoy greater detail and target separation from baitfish, predator fish and structure. FCV600 sounder frequencies Furuno:
CW frequencies: 50/200 kHz
Frequencies CHIRP: 40 to 225 kHz
ACCU-FISH FUNCTION Ideal for instant recognition of one or more fish. ACCU-FISH is a fish size evaluation function. To evaluate fish size, echo returns are evaluated according to strength and converted into a fish size display on screen. ACCU-FISH can detect fish sizes from around 10cm to 200cm, at depths ranging from around 2 meters to over 100 meters. Fish symbols, displayed in two different sizes (large: over 50cm) (small: under 50cm), are a great help to anglers when identifying individual fish.
REZBOOST FUNCTION The RezBoost function is a signal processing technology designed by FURUNO. It increases resolution and discrimination with the use of a conventional probe. This function simplifies the discrimination of individual echoes in a school of fish and helps to distinguish foraging fish from predators. Spot individual fish when they're close to the bottom.
